Looking Ahead

The progress made since 2021 has created a stronger foundation for Winter Springs, but important work remains.

Mayor Kevin McCann remains focused on:

• Advancing the historic replacement of the City’s aging wastewater treatment facilities while continuing to improve drinking water quality and system reliability

• Continuing major pond, stormwater, drainage, and flood-resiliency projects

• Protecting public safety and advancing construction of the planned hurricane safe room and Emergency Operations Center

• Preserving the City’s financial strength, pension stability, and ability to secure favorable financing for major infrastructure needs

• Managing growth responsibly while protecting neighborhoods, parks, trees, and the unique character of Winter Springs

• Maintaining an accessible and transparent local government where residents have a meaningful voice

Together, we can build on the progress already made and continue creating a safer, stronger, and more resilient Winter Springs for today’s residents and future generations.
